First thing to consider when buying a digital camera is the megapixel #, we suggest anything with at least 10-megapixels or higher. I recently bought a Canon PowerShot for my wife and it's literally too small. She can even read the back of the camera where you have to select all the functions. So keep that in mind, a tiny digital camera may not make the most sense if your vision isn't perfect. Our only drawback to these smaller digital cameras is that they are often hard to hold. They can be so small and slick that getting a steady hold of them can be difficult. The Cyber-shot DSC-N1 Digital Camera ($449.95) is a touch cheaper and can store up to 500 VGA images and has a 3.0" LCD monitor. The Cyber-shot DSC-T9 Digital Camera ($399.95) is the hottest new camera to hit the stores and has all the standard features that are perfect for the first time buyer. The low end model is the Cyber-shot DSC-T5 Digital Camera offered in Silver/Black for $249.95.
